The Rakk Dainas mouse is marketed to internet cafe owners who want a reliable and durable mouse that is intended for heavy gamer use. For Php550 exclusively available in EasyPC, I think it’s a really good deal.

What’s in the Box?

The box itself is pretty plain and straight forward. It has the product prints all oover

Contents of the box are:

  • 1x Rakk Dainas gaming mouse
  • 1x extra set of bottom pads

That’s it. No manual or CD or at least a paper that says where you can download the Rakk Dainas Fine Tune software (more on that later).

The Product

The Rakk Dainas is pretty sleek, it’s as if it was cloned from a Steel Series mouse. It feels good on the hands and it is very light which makes it ideal for fast paced shooter games. The buttons are satisfying to click since it is boasting to have Omron Switches installed. It has the left and right click buttons, a scroll wheel, and another switch that can be set to change the DPI setting.

The USB cable is braided which is a very nice touch but the USB itself feels cheap. But it works and it doesn’t really make much of a difference if it’s gold plated.

It also has a software called the Rakk Dainas Fine Tuner which lets you program your own DPI settings, color schemes, and click modes. It is very well thought of and it actually kinda works.

Using the Product

Using the mouse feels good and I played a little bit of CS:GO and Arma III with it and I find it to be smooth and the DPI settings are sensitive. I like the way you can change the DPI because it gives you flexibility on your gaming style.

Conclusion

So what’s the verdict? I think it’s a very sturdy mouse for intense shooters and long gaming sessions and the general feel of the mouse says it will last many wars with it’s companion. It is well worth the Php550.
