HP OMEN X. Overclockable and fully loaded laptop for 4k gaming.

HP has recently announced their incredibly powerful new gaming laptop, the OMEN X.According to HP , it is “built for gaming enthusiasts and esports athletes seeking maximum performance”.

This laptop comes with an unlocked Intel 7th gen Core i7 CPU, XMP memory options for memory overclocking which as been tested up to DDR4-2800, as well as factory overclocked GPUs up to the Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080. It will easily handle the most demanding AAA games at 4k resolution.

The OMEN X comes with a 17-inch diagonal 4K display option, or 120Hz 1080p display option for fast refresh rates and smooth visuals with NVIDIA G-Sync enabled.

It will also feature a mechanical RGB LED-per key backlit keyboard, a RAID 0 SSD option for fast boot up and game loading, difference SSD+HDD storage options, and high performance fans to increase airflow and an integrated vapor chamber with 4x 3.5mm heat pipes to increase heat transfer from the GPU and CPU to the for rear corner mounted radiators.

The OMEN X will also support DTS Headphone: X, dual speakers designed by audio wizards Bang & Olufsen, and a generous connection of ports including three USB 3.0 Type A, two Thunderbolt 3-certified USB 3.1 TypeC, HDMI 2.0a with HDR support, Mini DisplayPort, RJ45, dual audio jacks, and a multi-format media card reader.

It is an absolute beast of laptop and, from the specs alone, it certainly is a high end laptop for serious gamers.

The price starting at $3,299 and will be released on November 2017.
