Rakk Gears has been bringing us affordable gaming peripherals and they have been successful in making a presence for their brand.
A few months after Rakk Gears launched their official website, they eventually started accepting orders online via Cash On Delivery in Metro Manila areas which makes purchasing your gaming gear convenient and more accessible to budget oriented PC gamers.
I’ve decided to try it out just to see how it works. To be honest, I’m just a few minutes away from the nearest EasyPC store, which is their official distributor.
So I went to their website, got registered, then added a PC case and a fan kit to my cart then hit that checkout button and entered my delivery and payment details. Quick and easy.
But the process is not without it’s problems. I ordered my items on the 18th of October, then got processed for packing the day after that, according to the website. But about a few days after, I didn’t get a call from a Rakk representative to confirm the delivery of my order.
So I went to the official Rakk.ph Facebook page and left a message. It took them at least an hour to respond. I received a call from the Rakk representative to confirm my order and availability for cash-on-delivery right before they responded on Facebook Messenger.
Next day, I finally got the stuff I ordered.

In my honest opinion, the order shouldn’t have taken long since they are promising 2-3 days of delivery within Metro Manila.
Since the delivery people were from EasyPC (they were wearing their store IDs), I assume they got my items from an EasyPC branch. My place is just literally a a few minutes drive from the nearest EasyPC store.
I think it’s safe to assume that there is a lack of management and organization within Rakk.ph themselves and I think they should get more staff that is dedicated to processing the orders as efficiently as possible.
I’ve read a lot of Facebook posts about people’s dissatisfaction from Rakk’s delivery, especially with after sales.
But for me, the most important thing is I got my stuff in proper condition in less than a week.
This is just new and I’m they’re just working out some kinks in their process. Rakk has been faithful in giving us affordable gaming peripherals and hopefully, their customer service improves in time.
Frequently Asked Question: “If I’m not from Metro Manila, how do I order items from Rakk.ph?”
This has been brought up a lot of times since Rakk.ph only accepts orders within Metro Manila. I reached out to Rakk themselves and they said that orders outside of Metro Manila can be arranged with any EasyPC branches. Most likely, payment will be through Bank Deposit or Remittance, then delivery will be done through LBC. There will be an additional charge for delivery.
